1. Plume by K. Lynn Smith:
'Plume' is an awesome web comic that I have been enjoying immensely this summer! The story, set in the Old West (but is it our world?), follows the adventures of Vesper Grey and Corrick. Ugh! I just love the names! If you're a die-hard single-issue reader you can probably get several physical issues of Plume at your local comic book store. If you can't, ask them to order it for you! Or just read them for free on the interwubs like ME!
2. Boots:
I suppose that's autumn creeping in here again. There is nothing better than a great pair of boots, some cozy socks over a pair of snuggly leggings to make you feel ready for a chill in the air! Mmmm....I can't wait!
3. Krista & her blog Lazy Saturdays:
I just love her style (see the boots?), DIY projects and her fun photography! Not to mention the great layout of her blog and the fact that she consistently blogs, even with a one year-old! You're an inspiration, Krista! Can't wait to keep reading.
4. Midi Skirts:
Tartan? Yes, please! |
Now, that's a twirling skirt! |
In case you don't know, a midi skirt is a right-below-the-knee-skirt, reminiscent of days gone by. Seriously. Just try not feeling like Susie Q on her way to the sock hop in one of these babies. I dare you. Midi skirts have been my jam for years, I just never knew what they were called until recently. In fact, I picked myself up a few pretty midis at my local Salvation Army just this week! Now, why they didn't go with my name for the skirt, (Ankle-Grazing-Make-You-Feel-Like-a-Princess-Twirling Skirt) I'll never know!
5. David Bowie performing 'Fame' on Soul Train in 1975:
The suit. The hair. The awkward dancing. It's all pure gold and pure Bowie. I hope you'll be listening to this all weekend, because you know I will be!
Happy Friday, Friends!
