I sure do love a spooky mantle this time of year! Your mantle is the perfect place to create a creepy tableau this Halloween season. It's also a good place to pick a theme if you happen to have a bunch of decorations that go together. I never go out and buy new decorations for my mantle; I just work with what I have & try to come up with something that makes me excited to look at! And if you don't have a mantle, never fear! You can build just as nice of a display on a shelf, bar or bannister. If you need some inspiration this year, take a look at some of the monstrous mantles below!
Here are a few shots of this year's mantle. I think I will probably add some spooky spiderwebs later this week to complete the scene. I've also asked if Rick could edit our wedding photo to make us look like zombies, but that may have to wait until next year.
