On Friday night, a show that my brother & I have been working on for months finally went up in front of a packed house! The House of Shadows is an original old-time radio program done in front of a live audience. This unique program was graciously sponsored by our local library & performed by some of our amazing, talented friends. It included three Tales from the Crypt/Are You Afraid of the Dark style stories & two commercials honoring our sponsors & was perfectly timely for the spooky season! We also invited a talented local singer/songwriter, Igaus Davis (Matt Davis) to perform a musical interlude. During this time, he performed The Decemberists The Shankill Butchers & an original song about a lynching victim from our town's history.
Working on projects with my brother is always my favorite! We are particularly proud of The House of Shadows & hope that we can record it in the very near future for a wider audience to enjoy. If & when that happens, I will let you know where you can find it! Until then, we'll be working on the next Readers Theater! If you are living in or around Northern Colorado, I sincerely hope you will join us for a future program!
