Rick & I drove down to Colorado Springs on Saturday afternoon to stay with his sister, brother-in-law & niece. We got in some quality baby-time, met their new dog, Boomer the bed snuggler, & had a wonderful night spending time with one another. I also managed to get in a quick run before dinner & it was one of the most beautiful runs I've had in a long time (even though I was really feeling that increased altitude)!
On Sunday morning we got up, had breakfast & drove down to Larkspur for the last day of the Colorado Renaissance Festival for this year. As mentioned
before, I've been going to this event since I was a teenager, but haven't been back in the last two years. It was so nice to go & see some of my favorite acts (Arsene of Paris!!!), people-watch & spend time with our family. I also got to wear the flower crown that
I made last weekend! It was one of the best/busiest weekends we've had in a while.
