At the end of last year, I sent a goal of reading 50 books in 2015. I had read 30 books in 2014 & felt that an increase of 20 books would be a good place to start. Now that we're a little over half-way done with the year, I thought it would be a good to assess how the challenge is going.
I have officially read 47 of 50
books. I think I'm going to need a bigger number.
Here are a few of my top picks so far:
This is one of the most beautifully written books I've read in a long, long time. |
Knisley's relationship with food is wonderfully depicted with drawings & recipes scattered throughout this unique graphic novel. |
Stevenson has created something truly special with Nimona. I hope that she writes a sequel in the very near future. |
I really enjoyed this book & the beautiful, & at times heartbreaking, redemptive stories. |
