If you've been reading much of my blog, you might know that I love all things vintage; clothes, cars, music, you name it. And Halloween is definitely included in that category!
I have always loved Halloween decorations, but there is just something about these die cut decorations that gives me the creeps in a totally good way! They straddle the line between spooky and genuinely scary and I LOVE that!

Don't mess around with this guy! He has a bone to pick with you! Get it?? |
|
I think we may have actually had one of these when I was a kid. I think we also had a vampire, witch and a werewolf that was actually fuzzy! |
I really miss some of the old Halloween party traditions, like bobbing for apples or carving pumpkins! We still have a pumpkin carving party every year!

Do you think this is sanitary? |
|
That's an awfully big knife, kids.... |
And the costumes! These range from adorably cheap & cheesy.....
Does King Kong really need a picture of himself on the costume to sell it? Like they wouldn't know it was him without it? |
To truly strange....

He's a side of bacon. And he won first prize. Maybe it was a slow year? |
To just plain disturbing!

I don't even know, folks! |
I'm going to leave you with something I considered adding to yesterday's blog. I don't know if anyone but my brother and I will remember
this but we used to love the Groovie Goolies (not to be confused with the band the Groovie Ghoulies), especially around Halloween! Groovie Goolies ran from 1970-1972 and was a spinoff of Sabrina the Teenage Witch (another favorite), which I think makes it officially "vintage".
Just so you know, Wolfie was my favorite.
Happy Haunting, friends!!
