Almost every year, my brother & I trade off having a Halloween party. Because we hang out with a lot of the same people, this always works out really well. And this year was no exception. Masquerade at the House of Walker was definitely a night to remember!

This was the invitation for the party. My bro is kind of a big deal. |
I just finished reading Stephen King's "The Shining", so I went for a vintage Overlook Hotel ghost. With the help of a simple, thrifted black dress, some white make-up and special costume contact lenses, I think the effect was pretty cool!

We had a grand old time with awesome costumes, spooky decorations, great food, desserts, tasty libations, scary movies and, of course, dancing. I'm always a little bummed when our Halloween parties are over. Thank goodness Halloween comes every year!
On second thought, that kind of silliness is probably only acceptable once or twice a year! :) Until next year, friends!
