Favorite Friday Favorites # 4

1. Free Wallpaper on the Mod Cloth Blog:
I can't even. Too much cute!
My current wallpaper is now this lovely. Now, I acknowledge that wallpaper for your computer, phone or tablet might not be a reason to sing and dance like Maria in 'The Sound of Music'. But I like cute images. So sue me. The folks over at ModCloth have an impeccable eye for style and design that I just eat up. Plus, throw the word 'free' on something? Even something that I could make myself? I am so there.

2. The Oh Hello's:

The Oh Hello's are fronted by Texas brother & sister duo, Maggie & Tyler Heath.  The radio stations around these parts have been playing the Oh Hello's song, "Hello My Old Heart" a lot. It's not my favorite tune of theirs, though I think it's a safe bet that has the most mass appeal. If you have heard that tune and like it, I urge you to check out the rest of their stuff. Everything they have is solid.

3. Ez Pudewa's New Print Shop:
Audrey, the fanciest fox

Ez Pudewa is the author of one of my favorite blogs, Creature Comforts. She writes about photography, illustrations, recipes and so much more. She just, as in yesterday, opened an online print shop and her stuff is ADORABLE! She is running a cool contest on her blog that you should check out. If she chooses your name idea for one of her cute characters, you win any print that you want from her shop! My name was Beauregard, obviously. He's a French bear. I hope I win, but if any of you won, I'd be just as happy!

4. Danielle Ate the Sandwich's  Album 'Like a King':

Danielle Anderson is an independent singer/songwriter more commonly known as the YouTube sensation, Danielle Ate the Sandwich. She originally hailed from my very own home-state of Colorado, but now lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I have been watching Danielle Ate the Sandwich for the past four years, since my brother introduced me to her videos. Basically, if she's selling, I'm buying. Danielle (I feel like we're on a first name basis) embodies a lot of the things that I love: thick-rimmed cat eye glasses, ukuleles, strong eyebrows, vintage dresses, smart girls who have the same sense of humor as me,  a love of cats and brilliantly, beautiful music. Danielle, if you're reading this; I'll go ahead and waive the application to be my new best friend. We know who each other are.

5. This Hoodie:

For obvious reasons.
