Rick really isn't one for crowds, so going to the ARC on Saturday for their weekly 50% off sale isn't usually an option, as the crowds are, admittedly, a little crazy. However, 7:30 on a Wednesday night is the perfect time to browse the racks without any interruption! Rick picked up a few lamps that he's going to part out and I picked up a few odds and ends: a coffee mug with a cat named Morris on it, two pairs of shorts (preparing for a trip to Georgia this summer), a copy of Bunnicula by Deborah & James Howe and a purple, bat-wing cardigan.
More than finding our treasures, we enjoyed checking out the weird assembly of junk that had collected since the last time we were at the ARC.

Look at the babies!!! |
There was so much cat stuff. This is just one section, but the whole store was bursting with cat paraphernalia. It took everything in my power not to take home a few choice pieces from this shelf of mirth and merriment. Everything in my power. I always told Rick I plan to collect cat figurines in my old age. No time like the present, I say!!
Happy Thrifting, friends!
