1. Consider This-
I recently returned to college classes after a twelve year hiatus & one of the hardest things for me to come to terms with is that I can't do all the things I was doing before now that I'm taking 16 credit hours.
And that's okay.
I have this propensity to want to do all the things while running myself ragged in the process & that's just not going to work anymore. Seeing this little reminder this morning calmed my worries.
I hope it does the same for you.

2. Rick's First Friday Show-
If you live in the Northern Colorado area, we'd love to see you tonight at John Galt Coffee Company! Rick has been working his little butt off for this show & all the hard work has definitely paid off! Can you tell I'm a proud wife-bird? If you can't make it tonight but would still love to see the art, the show will be up all this month! Check it out!
3. New Music (Videos)-
4. Train by Danny Cohen-
Do yourself a favor & read this beautiful, heartbreaking & inspiring novel. You won't be disappointed.

But don't just take my word for it. Check out this great resource where you can read the first 50 pages of this important & timely novel.
5. August's Playlist-
More Links to Love-
-I recently stumbled upon Zoetrope: All-Story while browsing around my local newsstand & I was really impressed with the issue I flipped through. Zoetrope is a literary magazine founded by Francis Ford Coppola in 1997. It primarily explores the intersection of story, art, fiction & film. I really look forward to picking up my very own copy soon!
-Oh, James Cameron.
-This is important & absolutely worth the 56 minutes you'll spend watching it. If you live in Northern Colorado & know nothing or very little about the Chicano civil rights movement, watch this now.
-I used to do FatMumSlim's monthly photo challenges every month. I might have to give this one a go.
-Helping after Hurricane Harvey.
Happy Friday, Friends!
