Last Sunday, Rick, my brother, sister-in-law & nephew headed up to the mountains to go to the Georgetown Christmas Market! It has become of a bit of a yearly tradition to head up I-70 to meet Rick's family up in Georgetown & this year was no different!
We had a lovely time wandering through the snow covered streets, listening to bagpipers, meeting Saint Nicolas, drinking peppermint mochas & hot chocolates & just making memories with our family!
Though they are done for this year, if you have the time to go next year, I highly recommend! Admission is free & you can get lunch & a wagon ride very reasonably at the town run booths. There are also many local restaurants that would love to serve you & your family! And don't forget to get there early & get yourself some chestnuts roasted over an open fire! We missed them this year & I'm STILL a little heartbroken!
