4. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Rainbow Rowell last week-
The first Rowell book I ever read was 'Eleanor & Park' & I'm not joking when I say it blew my mind. It had been a long time since I had read a book that truly encapsulated what it's like to be young, different & in love and after hearing her speak, I can honestly say I understand why she such a thumping good author. She truly gets people & the nature of storytelling. I have since read the rest of her library & I am smack dab in the middle of her latest novel, 'Carry On'. If you have yet to read anything by Rainbow Rowell, I highly suggest you get yo' self to your local library ASAP!
