I recently made a trip to my local discount haven, Big Lots, to pick up a few things. While perusing the makeup section, I noticed a few bins placed haphazardly on the bottom shelf. Upon closer inspection, I found a veritable cornucopia of brands, colors & products, all mixed together.
Now, while one person may look at this & think, "I'm not sticking my hands in that", I looked at it and thought, "CHALLENGE!"

While digging through the mix of truly terrible colors & semi-opened lipsticks, I happened to find a few choice products. I've never seen either of these nail polish brands at Big Lots, but they had a pretty nice selection of colors from both. If I were you, if you love a color that you come across, get a backup. Big Lots often gets products that are being discontinued, so you may not be able to find that same product ever again. Each bottle was priced at $1.50.

I picked up this lovely orangy-red Revlon nail polish that I've been wearing for the past few days. It wears pretty well with minimal chipping with a base & top coat. For $1.25, I'm a happy camper!

Despite what you might think, you can find some amazing deals & products at Big Lots. Just like thrifting, sometimes it takes multiple visits & some digging, but when you find something great, you feel like you've struck gold!
