Sale-ing

It's that time of year again!!! It's time for getting up early, going to the local coffee shop for a beverage and scouring the neighborhood for good deals! That's right!! IT'S YARD SALE TIME!!! (Okay, I admittedly get a little too excited about yard sales.)

Rick and I started yard sale-ing last weekend, with very little luck. But this weekend we struck gold! The weather was nice and cool in the morning, warming up to about 70 degrees this afternoon. Perfect sale weather!

In grand total we spent $36.00 and two hours. We visited around ten sales and had a blast.

Here's is some of our haul:

We found these delightful little owls (they used to be part of a wind chime). I'm going to make a mobile!

You never know when you'll need a little glass jar! The basket is the perfect size for a wine bottle. Can we say hostess gift? I think so!

Beading supplies. On the cheap. Always a good choice.

A pictorial history of horror movies. Rick's dad would be so proud!
Adorable Christmas gnome and Santa ornaments made out of cardboard.
Celtic stamp set. It has never been used.

And this is the ultimate prize, the silver tuna, the cherry on top! It is a authentic card catalog! It is solid wood, has all the original hardware and is in near perfect shape! We are planning on giving it to Rick's dad for his birthday! What a find!

We find some other odds and ends (storage material and such) but those are the highlights! I hope you had fun looking at our finds because we sure had fun finding them! Maybe next weekend you'll go do a little yard sale-ing for yourself!

You might even see us out there!
